"How much blow does Charlie Sheen do? Enough to kill two and a half men!" joked Jon Lovitz. And it kept getting better from there. Comedy Central held the Roast of Charlie Sheen on Saturday night, complete with Greek theme and ?goddesses,? hosted by Seth MacFarlane. Comedians Anthony Jeselnik, Jon Lovitz, Patrice O'Neal, Jeffrey Ross, Amy Schumer, William Shatner, Steve-O and, randomly, Mike Tyson and Kate Walsh showed up to crack jokes on behalf of the self-proclaimed warlock.
An In Touch insider says Charlie ?handled the roast like a champ, cracking up and throwing his arms up at times. When he finally came to speak at the end, he was pretty on, nailing the jokes, and he looked healthy.? Ex-wife Brooke Mueller was in the audience to support Charlie, and said she was nervous for the roast because ?you know they're gonna focus on me, too!?
The jokes mainly centered on Charlie?s love of, ahem, powdery substances. The actor, who was fired in March from Two and a Half Men, infamously said on Good Morning America in February, "I am on a drug ? it's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available, because if you try it, you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body." After going on a months-long rampage complete with comedy show tour, Charlie has undoubtedly calmed down recently. Perhaps the reality of Ashton Kutcher replacing him on the hit show has finally sunken in? Whatever the case may be, Charlie and his friends took the roast well and ended the night with a party, complete with ?Tiger Blood? cocktails.
The roast premieres on Comedy Central on Monday, September 19 at 10 p.m. ET ? right after the premiere of the new Two and a Half Men.
