Yesterday was my first full day here in Rhode Island and it was a great one. The Hauslaibs took me to the Charleston Seafood Festival and OMG was it amazingly fun. The food was delish, the people watching was fun and the company was the best. I ate lobster, clam cakes, mussels, crab legs and enjoyed Del?s Frozen Lemonade. Soooo amazing!
Note: No, KISS was not in concert at the Seafood Fest ? but the cover band was pretty decent. For the night?s activity, we played a nice round of Family Trivial Pursuit:
Because the game was made in 1967, Team Parents won ? Team Sisters came in second and Team Gays came in a pitiful, wedgeless last :( We had fun tho.
Today ? is raining. Actually, it?s pouring so ? we?re going to the movies! Rise of the Planet of the Apes, here we come! Happy Sunday!
