Today is a cold, chilly day here in LA (which is a total bummer because the LA Marathon is tomorrow, rain or shine) but yesterday was a very nice, albeit cloudy day. Because yesterday was a non run day for me, I decided to get out and squeeze in a short work out to try and keep my blood flowing and my muscles loose. I ended up taking a very nice 3 mile walk. Last night, I got to hang out with my dear friend Josh for the first time since David and I got back from Europe. We were long overdue for a hang session. Today is St. Patrick?s Day ? but I?m not sure, yet, how I?m going to get around to celebrating my non-Irishness ;)

I?m going to try and use my non run days for long walk days ? at least an hour each time (I think). I?m so new to all of this training, I?m ot sure what I?m doing ? but I think I?m figuring out what works for me. Because of the rain and some soreness in my ankle tendons, I might not get to work out today at all. I?m less concerned about the rain (because it does let up every once in a while) and more concerned about my feet. I don?t want to strain or injure myself and hinder my training at all so ? we?ll see. If the rain lets up enough and my tendons get stretched out enough ? I may venture out for a short run. Wish me luck.

Dinner last night with Josh was so fun! We went to Cafe Sushi for dinner and I had THE BEST bowl of seafood ramen EVER:

I?m a big ramen noodle fan ? and when you throw in lobster, crab and calamari ? well ? I?m in heaven! It was great hanging out with Josh ? he seems to be doing really well and he was very happy for my engagement to David (which is a month old now!). We had a very nice time together. I?m hoping on our next hang session, we?ll get to hang out with his boyfriend so I can finally meet him :)

Here?s hoping all y?all celebrating today have a safe and very fun St. Patty?s Day. Drink some Guinness and/or Green Beer and/or Irish Car Bombs for me. XO
