'Woman In Black' Sequel Moving Ahead Without Daniel Radcliffe?

Woman In Black

The Woman in Black, the British specter that scared up $120 million worldwide this past winter, is set to return in a follow-up to the surprise horror hit, but the leading man, Daniel Radcliffe, probably won't be around for a second encounter.

Hammer, Alliance Films and Cross Creek Pictures, along with Susan Hill, the author of "The Woman in Black" novel, have announced a follow-up called "Angels of Death." The proposed story will take place 40 years after the first film starring Radcliffe, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Spoilers ahead.

For those of you who saw "The Woman In Black," two problems with this setup should strike you. First of all, setting the film 40 years later would age Radcliffe's character Arthur Kipps beyond the ages the actor could realistically play.

Oh, and there is the small problem that Radcliffe's character dies at the end of "The Woman in Black." You'd have to imagine that if Radcliffe were to make an appearance, it would have to be a ghostly one.
