On Saturday, NFL quarterback Tony Romo, 31, and former Miss Missouri Candice Crawford (sister of Gossip Girls actor Chace Crawford), 24, tied the knot at Arlington Hall in Dallas, reports DailyMail.co.uk.
The ceremony took place at 7 p.m. under massive, air-conditioned white tents that were set up for the occasion. About 600 guests, including a number of Romo's teammates, witnessed the nuptials.
The bride and groom kept security tight by asking guests to check in their cell phones and leave cameras at home. About 20 black umbrellas swarmed and surrounded Crawford as she made her way to the ceremony tent, according to DailyMail.co.uk.
The pair opted for an all-white wedding, with white Dolce and Gabbana jackets for the groomsmen, a massive white wedding cake, and "gazillions" of white lights that surrounded the trees, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. Romo personally chose every song that played throughout the evening.
Celebrity wedding planner Todd Fiscus, who worked with the couple to plan the event, kept the reception menu simple with short ribs and pizza, telling the Chicago Sun-Times before the nuptials, "I have a lot of football players to feed!"
