Were you under the impression that Jennifer Hudson turned down the lead in Precious because she didn't want to be defined by her size? Well, you're dead wrong, but the mistake is understandable since that's pretty much exactly when Jennifer Hudson said earlier this week. When someone from TMZ asked about the remark, Hudson said, "I did not turn down the role because of the weight thing ... I turned it down because I felt it was just too graphic for me at that time." That's a bit hard to believe since she reportedly wrote in her new book "I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight," and said in a Dateline interview, "I did not accept the role. I would've had to be the big girl again ... I don't like the idea of being boxed in to anything." Damn you, internet and your pesky search function! [TMZ]
In response to two of her Robert Kardashian's ex-wives repeating the old rumor that Khloe Kardashian isn't really his daughter, she Tweeted, "The audacity you have to mention my father's name like this! Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low... YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)." [E!]
Lindsay Lohan had no idea that she never payed her 2009 income tax because she assumed she had people who do that stuff for her. She promises to pay up soon, presumably with Playboy cash. [TMZ]
Ashton Kutcher is keeping himself in the tabloids by appearing at the Television Critics Association press tour with his wedding band on (and a spiffy new haircut). [E!]
- It's unclear if congrats are in order: Bryan Ferry just married one of his sons' ex-girlfriends. [E!]
- The Daily Mail's picture editor sees about 400 paparazzi photos of Pippa Middleton per day, despite the fact that doesn't do anything interesting and her most talked about attribute seems rather overrated. [CBS News]
- Here's the requisite Jessica Simpson pregnancy craving update: "I had a buttered Pop Tart this morning. I'm eating a lot of stuff that I ate in my childhood. Kraft Mac n' Cheese, Pop Tarts, Cap'n Crunch. Everything's filled with sugar." Fascinating stuff. [Us]
- Tina Fey is trying to make Liz Lemonade (oh, yes) out of the controversy over Tracy Morgan's anti-gay jokes. Openly gay newsman Thomas Roberts, who did a cameo in an upcoming 30 Rock episode, says, "Liz Lemon writes Tracy's apology on the show and says he's not a homophobe, he's an idiot. That offends idiots, so while NBC is being picketed by the LBGT community, now it's also being picketed by idiots led by Denise Richards. She's the leader of the idiots." [N.Y. Mag]
