After a quiet night of take-out and TV last night, David and I are very much looking forward to getting out of the house tonight to see the iconic Cyndi Lauper live in concert at Club Nokia. Except for the fact that it?s kinda cold and very rainy today, I?m anxious to get some clothes on and head out into the world. It?s been ages since I?ve seen Cyndi live in concert so ? I?m excited!!
The last time I saw Cyndi Lauper, she was headlining the True Colors Tour. While that show was fun, it was made up of a group of acts ? and, IMHO, not enough Cyndi. Tonight?s show will feature Lauper as the headliner, performing a full set of songs. I have to say, Club Nokia is not my fave venue here in LA but I am excited nonetheless.
This weekend will be a bit bizzy but hopefully once the rain stops, it?ll be a fun one. Happy Friday, all!
