Rooney Mara, the star of David Fincher's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Vogue Magazine November 2011
Rooney Mara, the star of David Fincher's upcoming Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, graces the cover of this month's Vogue with a profile by Contributing Editor Jonathan Van Meter.
The November issue hits newsstands nationwide October 25th, but the cover story is available now on Vogue.com:
It's approaching midnight, and the June sun is winking on the horizon, still hoping to conjure one last moment of spooky beauty for the good people of Stockholm. Rooney Mara, David Fincher, and I are walking home from a two-bottle-of-wine dinner at their favorite caf, around the corner from Ingmar Bergman Plats. Both of them have been living in Sweden, on and off, since the previous summer, shooting one of the most anticipated movies in years: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. As we pass the Royal Dramatic Theatre, where Greta Garbo studied as a teenager, Mara points to the clock tower in Gamla Stan, silhouetted in the distance, and reminds Fincher that when it strikes twelve it will be exactly one year to the day since he first auditioned her to play the part of Lisbeth Salander, arguably the most coveted role for an actress since Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind (another film adaptation of a wildly popular book featuring a shrewd, complicated, difficult-to-love heroine capable of slaying a man).
"Really?" says Fincher. "A year ago tomorrow?" He shakes his head in disbelief and then fishes a vibrating phone out of his pocket: "Hello, Amy." It is the co-chairperson of Sony Pictures, Amy Pascal, the studio head who, if this movie takes off, will surely get credit for having greenlighted the first truly adult franchise to come out of Hollywood since the early seventies, when movies like The Exorcist--not Twilight--were winning the terrified hearts of audiences everywhere.

?Buffy The Vampire Slayer? Gets The Porn Parody Treatment
Buffy the Vampire Layer?
Welp ? it was bound to happen sooner or later. The iconic TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer is getting the porn parody treatment. That?s right folks, the characters that we all know and love ? Buffy Summers, Angel, Willow Rosenberg, Xander Harris and more ? are featured in a XXX pornographic video that will lampoon the BtVS story. As you may recall, we previously learned of the porn parodies that are based on Batman, Saved By the Bell and Lindsay Lohan. Today, we get our first look at the alternate porno universe of Buffy the Vampire Layer.
We?ve been hearing rumors about an upcoming ?Buffy? parody for over a year now?and finally, at long last, it?s actually coming to fruition. Penned by newcomer Josh Wheldon and directed by the legendary Lee Roy Myers, this parody looks to be the most exciting thing to hit Porn Valley since the ?Star Trek: The Next Generation? porn. Of course, a porn is only as good as its cast?so it?s a good thing this project is loaded with all-stars. In the lead role, we?ve got the one and only Lexi Belle (because of course), along with Jessie Andrews as Willow, Kris Slater as Xander, Tom Byron as Giles, Chanel Preston as Jenny, Rocco Reed as Angel, Michael Vegas as Spike, Britney Amber as Harmony, and Ash Hollywood, Amber Rayne, April O?Neil, and Anthony Rosano as other people who are also in the movie. Want to see how these porn performers stack up to their mainstream counterparts?
Um ? yeah. I guess you?re really not a pop cultural phenomenon until someone makes a porn parody about you so ? congrats Buffy! I can?t even tell you how much I love that the writer?s name is Josh Wheldon ;) Hahahahahaha. While I find it very hard to believe that I will ever actually watch this Buffy porn parody (no matter how big a Buffy fan I am), I can tell you this ? this porn parody looks LIGHT YEARS better than that stupid Buffy remake film will ever hope to be.

Bundling up for the falling temperatures, Kate Hudson was spotted out for a family walk in London, England earlier today (November 29).
The ?Fool?s Gold? actress was joined by her handsome beau Matthew Bellamy and their baby boy Bingham Hawn Bellamy as the trio all spent some active quality time together.
Last night (November 28), Kate wore a black one-shoulder Stella McCartney cut-out dress to the 2011 British Fashion Awards just four months after giving birth - and she looked fabulous.
Of her history with the designer, Hudson told press, "Stella dressed me for my first red carpet event in 2001 for the Academy Awards. It was my first and only nomination. I was 21 years old and to have Stella McCartney dressing me, well, I felt like the hippest, coolest girl in the world. Up until the last minute Stella was still sewing the hem. I woke up the next morning, turned on the television to find out I was on every Worst Dressed list. So I called Stella and we just laughed our a**es off and she said to me, 'Look babe, it was the hem wasn't it?'"

But Mariah Yeater attorney Jeffrey Leving tells MTV News negotiations are still ongoing.

A lawyer for Mariah Yeater confirmed reports Wednesday (November 16) that the California woman had dropped her paternity suit against Justin Bieber.
After TMZ reported that Yeater had been dropped by the attorneys representing her and that they had withdrawn the claim last week, Chicago attorney Jeffrey Leving told MTV News that the suit is, technically, off but that negotiations are happening behind-the-scenes for a settlement.
"We are still pursuing a DNA test and ... if it's positive, our desire for child support is still active," said Leving, who confirmed that a motion to dismiss the paternity action was filed November 9 in San Diego. "We could refile the paternity case tomorrow if we wanted, but we are attempting to settle the case out of court."
Leving said his office is in negotiations with Bieber's attorney in the case, Los Angeles-based Howard Weitzman, to settle the matter. Weitzman could not be reached for comment at press time.
Can Justin Fight Back? See Bieber's Options
Leving said he was legally barred from commenting on his decision to withdraw the petition but described it as part of a strategy to negotiate a confidentiality agreement and child-support payments as part of an out-of-court settlement. He said his co-counsel in California had been in touch with Weitzman and that he has also brought on a detective to investigate what he claimed were death threats against Yeater.
Though he is now directing the case, Leving said he has been involved from the beginning but did not participate in the decision by Yeater's two former San Diego attorneys to file the paternity suit. He has also barred Yeater from doing any further media appearances or interviews. "She's a 20-year-old single mom with no money and no job trying to raise an infant, and she's being harassed and stalked," he said.
Last week, Bieber's camp confirmed that the 17-year-old singer would take a paternity test as soon as he returns from a European promotional jaunt in celebration of his just-released Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe.
Bieber's team vigorously denied the claim from the moment Yeater launched the paternity action earlier this month. Yeater claimed in a signed affidavit in the suit that she had unprotected sex with Bieber last October in a backstage area at one of the singer's concerts at Los Angeles' Staples Center and that her 4-month-old baby is his.
On Wednesday, Bieber's spokesperson once again maintained the pop star's innocence when asked to respond to reports that the suit had been dropped. "As we've said from the beginning, it's sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claim," Matthew Hiltzik said in a statement. "We'll continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin."
Asked to respond to suggestions that the withdrawal of the paternity suit appeared to weaken Yeater's claim, Leving said he felt just the opposite was true. "The case is stronger now because we can negotiate outside of court," he said. "I believe her. I believe she had sexual intercourse with him and I do believe he is the father of the child."
Because Leving is pursuing a nondisclosure agreement, he said, ideally, nobody will know the results of the DNA test either way. "If it's negative, we'll deal with it. If it's positive, we'll deal with it when that happens," he said. "But hopefully whether it's positive or negative, nobody will know."
Should Justin sue Mariah Yeater? Weigh in on Facebook!

'One tries to do the best you can with each picture, hopefully continue making them,' renowned filmmaker tells us.

Asa Butterfield in "Hugo"

Martin Scorsese's career is one of such significance and acclaim that the Oscar-winning director could retire from the business right now, knowing that his living-legend status would remain intact. It is clear he has no plans to slow down, however, due to the fact that in the last year alone, he's been involved in five feature film and documentary projects, the most recent being his first family-oriented film, the critically acclaimed "Hugo."
When MTV News caught up with Scorsese recently, we asked him to explain the secrets behind his productivity. "There seems to be a sort of urgency, an interest in making comments on certain aspects of life and the world around me, the people, culture today," Scorsese said when asked if he's working under his own self-imposed deadlines or urgency to complete projects. "Whether it's trying to deal with how art inspires a young person — and that is 'A Letter to Elia' — or trying to create a spectacle of American enterprise and corruption as [with] Terry Winter and his show that I'm working on with him, 'Boardwalk Empire,' or people speaking their minds and very strong opinions, like Fran Lebowitz in 'Public Speaking,' but even more so was working for five or six years on 'George Harrison: Living in the Material World,' with David Tedeschi. That is interesting because that was finished at the same time as 'Hugo.' Those five projects were finally released all within one year."
We then asked if with this sudden urgency, Scorsese is conscious or concerned with preserving his legacy as a filmmaker.
"Not really, maybe I [was] at one point," he admitted. "I'm not quite sure anymore. I don't really know. I think at one point in the early '90s, there seemed to be a lot of films being made here in America and in China and around the world that had been inspired by 'Mean Streets' ... that may still be the case that may not be the case, I don't know anymore. One tries not to think of that. One tries to do the best you can with each picture, hopefully continue making them and that they mean something, that they matter to people."

Clichés Warner Bros. needs to avoid in trailer, which premieres December 16, in this edition of The Weekly Rising.
By Kevin P. Sullivan
Christian Bale and Tom Hardy film "Dark Knight Rises"
Photo: Getty Images
A great trailer is a challenge to pull off. It needs to strike a delicate balance between not showing enough and giving everything away. A trailer establishes the tone and look of a film without getting too deep into the story to ruin the actual movie.
The pressure is now on for "The Dark Knight Rises" and its theatrical trailer, which will premiere in front of "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" on December 16. With so many looking forward to the conclusion of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, the first full-length trailer needs to make the appropriate impact. Unfortunately, a great trailer doesn't always get made. Studio execs can tinker with it into oblivion in the hopes of hitting all four quadrants.
Here's an outline for the "Dark Knight" trailer I don't want to see.
Vrooommmm, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.
Fade into the Warner Bros. logo surrounded by falling building debris, just like the teaser trailer.
Vrooommmm, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.
Fade into the Legendary Pictures logo surrounded by falling building debris, just like the teaser trailer.
Vrooommmm, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.
Suddenly, an "Inception"-esque Bwooonnng! rings outs to remind everyone of how much we all liked that movie. That's always a good way to get people's attention. Every other vaguely sci-fi action movie since last summer has used it in their trailer. Why shouldn't we?
We pan over the Gotham cityscape. Pay no attention to the fact that it doesn't look like Chicago anymore. This is just a different part of the city, the Little Pittsburgh district. From that, we take a closer look at the city. It's seven years later and things aren't great. The homeless riddle the streets. Someone smashes a window with a brick. A street vendor feeds his kids the falafel he sells from his cart.
"Gotham!" yells the muffled voice of Tom Hardy, as the villainous Bane, in a voice-over, sounding kind of like an elderly British woman. "Take back your city!" While the voice speaks, we cut to a slightly older Commissioner Gordon staring at the broken Bat signal, then John Blake slamming some handcuffed punk against the hood of a car. Finally, there's a slow fade onto Bruce Wayne. He's staring at his Batsuit, stored behind a thick pane of glass in the fully restored Batcave.
Transition to soft piano music. Tell Hans to string together four or five chords. Play them each 10 seconds apart. This will let them know there's some really heavy stuff going on here. "Master Wayne?" Alfred calls from the top of the stairs. He's in his bathroom, and it's clearly late. Bruce turns to look at his loyal butler.
"Are you all right?" Alfred asks, with sadness in his face. We're back with Bruce. He turns to face the encased suit and studies it for a moment. "I'm fine."
Now tell Hans to start up that cool chanting he had all those nerds do online. The one they yelled into their parents' computer.
Deshy! Deshy!
Bah-Sah-Rah! Bah-Sah-Rah!
The citizens are gathering, and it's not for "The Taste of Gotham" — that's next week. They're revolting. There are riots in the streets. Things are on fire. People are jaywalking all over the place. It's chaos! Everyone in Gotham is heading in one direction, toward something that looks like courthouse steps.
Toward Bane! He's there in his new fur-lined coat from the Burlington Coat Factory. He watches as people approach him and the mercenaries flank him on each side. The picture of Harvey Dent is in his hand. The mercenaries drag forward a hostage. He looks like a businessman, clearly some government type. Let Nolan figure it out. Bane is going to kill him.
We're back in the Batcave. Bruce watches on a set of monitors everything that's taking place. When he sees the hostage, he bolts for his suit. Finally decked out as Batman, he heads for the Batpod, but someone is already there. It's Catwoman! She kicks the bike to life and takes off out of the cave. "Perfect," Batman says.
From there, just cut together a few seconds of each awesome set piece, and let the audience know about everything cool that's going to happen.
Bane and Batman fight. Batman leads the police against Bane and his army of ticked-off citizens. Hint at the origin of Bane. We finish at a party. Alfred brings Bruce over to a most delightful young lady he just met. He's hoping to get his master over the whole "Rachel blew up" thing. We approach a raven-haired beauty from behind.
"Master Bruce, I have to introduce you to the most delightful young lady. Miss, you were saying your name was?" She turns. "Selina Kyle."
Everyone's minds explode. That's how you make a trailer. If Warner Bros. wants to make the fans happy with the first theatrical trailer, they should focus on tone and not the story. We're fast-forwarding seven or eight years, so a lot has changed. There's more than enough to catch up on just within the city of Gotham to fill a trailer. What kind of shape is Bruce Wayne in? Has he been gone all these years? The detail about the chronological jump forward is just the right note to whet appetites and keep people hooked until July.

Welcome to THG Asks, where two of our experts debate topical issues in the world and you vote for the winning argument!
Today, in the aftermath of the Kourtney and Kim Take New York season premiere , THG Asks this crucial question:
Was Kris Humphries in on the divorce drama?
YES by Hilton Hater
It's konceivable that Kris Humphries was klueless about Kim Kardashian when they first started dating.
Granted, she had gone out with numerous professional athletes before. And, yes, her sex tape has likely been viewed by more people than attend New Jersey Nets home games.
I could maybe buy that Humphries was so focused on improving his post-up game that he hadn't signed online in two years, even if her family sold out long before LeBron James.
Still... you want me to believe that this basketball player - who was aware his league was headed for a lockout and he'd be missing multiple paychecks in the near future - didn't comprehend what he was getting into after a first date swarmed by paparazzi?!?
Or when his proposal was filmed by E! cameras?
Or when his wedding was turned into a four-hour TV special?
I'm sorry, but I can't imagine Kris really thought Kim would simply move to Minnesota, pop out a few babies and the couple would live happily ever after, tabloid-free.
As the old adage goes: It takes two to tango down the aisle, feign affection, pocket millions, get divorced 72 days later, cry a river in public and laugh all the way to the bank.
NO by Free Britney
With all due respect to my Kardashian expert kounterpart, Kris Humphries looked absolutely mortified last night, and I doubt he's that good of an actor.
In my view, the big oaf was likely seduced by Kim's voluptuousness and lavish lifestyle and didn't realize what he was getting into until it was too late.
I put nothing past Kim or her "momager" Kris Jenner. Those people have fewer scruples than I have patience for people who use the term "momager."
I hate myself right now, but not as much as Kris (H.) was hating life when he walked in on a naked dude teaching Kourt yoga (and E! writers high-fived).
The man got played. Plain and simple. Humphries was needed to give Kim a fairytale wedding, then hit the bricks ASAP, as her brand is more valuable when she's single.
Everything about Kris, from his mannerisms last night, to his actions after getting dumped, to his assertion that Kim will be irrelevant one day, indicates he had no clue.
How could he fall for it? Kim is probably a nice girl in private, but that's the thing. There is no private when your career is a never-ending reality show and a 24/7 shill.
Naively, he assumed he'd settle into a blissful relatively quiet post-wedding life. Instead, he got an apartment with Scott Disick. No one willingly agrees to that.
THG Asks you ... was Kris in on all this?

Justin Bieber will slip on his Santa hat next month for a command performance for the First Family when he takes the stage for TNT's annual "Christmas in Washington" holiday special.
JB will be joined by Cee Lo Green, Jennifer Hudson, Victoria Justice and the Band Perry on the show, which will be hosted by Conan O'Brien. The special will air on December 16 at 8 p.m. The 30th anniversary program — which will be taped at the National Building Museum in Washington on December 11 — will benefit the Children's National Medical Center. Among the attendees will be President Obama and the First Lady, along with other Washington VIPs, according to a release announcing the show.
While in England to promote the release of his Under the Mistletoe album, Bieber stopped by radio station Kiss FM, where he not only discussed his fans in the White House, but also spilled the beans that he would be performing at the annual show.
"President Obama ... his kids really like me, which is cool," Bieber said. "I'm actually doing 'Christmas in Washington,' and I'm performing for him and the whole Senate and all that."
Bieber previously performed at the event in 2009 — much to the delight of Sasha and Malia Obama — sharing the stage with the likes of Usher, Mary J. Blige and Sugarland. He also took the stage at the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll in 2010, and he's created a kind of bond with the commander-in-chief.
"[Obama] was really nice, and I was just happy to be [at the White House]," Bieber said last year. "We met [Sasha and Malia], took pictures with them, took pictures with the First Lady.
"The first time I met him was a couple months back," he continued. "I got to hang out with him in the Oval Office, which is pretty crazy, because no one really gets to go in there. It was pretty incredible. I got pictures with him."

Reports indicate Mariah Yeater has dropped her paternity claim.
By Gil Kaufman

Justin Bieber won't have to take a paternity test after all. Less than two weeks after a California woman claimed that the "Baby" singer had fathered a child with her last year following a brief backstage tryst, TMZ is reporting that lawyers for accuser Mariah Yeater quietly dropped the suit last week.
In fact, the gossip site is adding that not only has the paternity case been withdrawn, but lawyers Lance Rogers and Matt Pare have quit representing Yeater entirely.
Bieber's camp had vigorously denied the claim from the moment Yeater launched the paternity action earlier this month. Yeater claimed in a signed affidavit in the suit that she had unprotected sex with Bieber last October in a backstage area at one of the singer's concerts at Los Angeles' Staples Center and that her four-month-old baby is his.
Fighting Back: What Are Justin's Legal Options Now?
Last week, Bieber's camp confirmed that the 17-year-old singer would take a paternity test as soon as he returns from a European promotional jaunt in celebration of his just-released Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe.
"I can confirm that the team has proactively made arrangements for Justin to be tested upon his return and we're going to hold everyone who is involved responsible," Bieber spokesperson Matthew Hiltzik said in a statement. "It's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims," Hiltzik added. "We'll vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and to hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions." It is unclear if Bieber's camp will still pursue a lawsuit over the bogus claims.
Hiltzik could not be reached for confirmation at press time; MTV News also could not reach Yeater's lawyers at press time.

I think its funny that Tori is talking about this, especially after nipplegate 2011. I do love that family though:) I still change in front of my 3 1/2 year old, and sometimes he jumps in the shower with me. I see nothing wrong with it, until the child is uncomfortable with it.

It?s LUDICROUS that airlines think splitting up families while on flights, is okay! Our kids are all under 7 and it?s a huge safety issue to have them flying in another part of a plane with strangers?there are bathroom breaks, they need help to eat their meals and organise their toys. I pay FULL price for them to fly too. Not to mention?if something bad should happen, who is going to look after my child?s safety? Airlines used to be so customer friendly, now they just seem to hire inept people to run their customer service. America West/US Airways is the WORST I?ve ever encountered. I will go out of my way and pay more to avoid their awful service!
- Steph on November 23rd, 2011
Steph ? ITA with your comment. Notwithstanding what they said in the article, I would hope that ?common sense? would prevail in cases where the system has assigned a young child a seat away from his parents ? it would behove the stranger to switch seats with the parent and the flight staff should intervene if necessary. These seat assignments are not written in stone and I can?t imagine a traveller not wanting to switch if he/she was seated beside a parentless child. Seriously.. Just out of curiosity, how many children do you have and have you ever flown with the kids but without your spouse?
- cn tower on November 23rd, 2011
Boy do I have stories to tell about flying. 1st two out of four of our kids (they are both boys) are on the ?Do not fly list? they somehow share names with two folks from the IRA! But of course NOT the same birthdates. And when we have flown in the past we used to fly with Midwest Airlines. And we were split up most of the time. I was annoyed and voiced my concerns. But two times I actually lost it. They split us up and one time they actually had our toddler flying alone! They overbooked the flight and bumped 5 out of 6 of us. Since I made the reservations 8 months in advanced I politely but with a hint of anger told them under no circumstance was my 2 year old going to fly alone and in fact we were all going to be on this flight one way or another. And we were. Another time they put our baby, (yes I paid for her even though I could hold her) and our 4 yr old together but the rest of us were to be seated with total strangers. This of course was NOT going to happen! I was again upset! Why let us pick our seats when we purchase the tickets, but when we are about to board change it!!!! I am one of those who actually get to the airport 2 and a half hours early almost 3 hrs depending where we are going! This is a must given our family size and I always know that stuff will happen.
Common since with airlines?.. An oxymoron!
We now fly airtran and have not run into too many problems. Except for the boys?..

I think it?s terrible that airlines would split anyone up from their family after already booking seats, including, but not limited to children. I have an extreme fear of flying, and if I wasn?t with a family member or friend, I would probably have to leave the plane. Why would they split people up, after seating arrangements have already been made? That seems very disorganized and irresponsible.
Mary- I have always thought the ?do not fly list? was ridiculous. Most of the names on it are fairly common and someone who was already known to be a terrorist would likely find a way to make up a different identity anyway. Sad, but true. The people they are really keeping off of planes are average, everyday people.

CN Tower- I only have 2 kids, but one more on the way. i have flown without my spouse and have been split up from one kid (she was 2)! I kicked up a big stink and so did she. The woman sitting there didn?t want to give up her seat (apparently she had more rights than my full priced toddler)! Finally, an older couple moved for us to sit together! They need to have some system which doesn?t allow for young children to be split from parents. What angers me most is that now they try to make you pay for your seat assignments, but still get it wrong sometimes! We fly at least 3 or 4 times a year to see family- between 3hr and 10 hr flights! It?s getting more and more unpleasant to deal with the airlines every time! I don?t actually like flying either and to be split from a family member ruins the whole trip for me?.and I am very organised about my booking tickets and seats well in advance!

steph, i would have said to the person who wouldn?t give up their seat ?well, have fun dealing with my 2 year old?she gets airsick very easily and gives no warnings?. Who is soo insensitive to families, the airlines need to do a better job of making sure families sit together. fellow passengers also should be more accomodating when situations like yours occur.

We fly on South West for the most part and sometimes Jet Blue and have never had that experience thankfully! That is just insane to try and have small children sitting by strangers on an airplane flight! No way would I let my 6 year old or 18 month old sit by anyone but family.

Reports claim that he plans to sue Kim Kardashian for $10 million broke last week, but Kris Humphries is planning nothing of the sort.
The bogus allegation said the basketball player was going after his reality TV star wife because of how he expects to be portrayed on ?Kourtney and Kim Take New York? and also because he has a larger role on it than initially planned.
But a TMZ report tells that - while Kris is worried the show will make him look bad - he realizes he has no control over what E! airs.
In turn, there is no lawsuit and the couple is reportedly being ?cordial? with each other during the divorce process.

Miley Cyrus Celebrates Her 19th Birthday In Hollywood
Oompa Loompas, Dwarves & Rumer Willis -- OH MY!
Popstar Miley Cyrus, who was born Destiny Hope Cyrus, celebrated her 19th birthday in Hollywood, CA this week in a lavish fete inside the Roosevelt Hotel that was thrown by Miley?s BFF Kelly Osbourne. Miley?s boyfriend Liam Hemsworth was in attendance as were friends like Rumer Willis and tiny entertainers ? like a mini Nicki Minaj and a few Oopma Loompas. Yeah, sounds like a pretty standard 19th birthday party to me.
Miley Cyrus rarely needs an excuse to let her hair down. But if she did, her 19th birthday proved a prime opportunity to party as she mingled with a gaggle of showbiz friends and cavorted with dancing dwarves. The former Hannah Montana Star ? whose birthday was yesterday ? is seen here dancing the night away on Tuesday at the Beacher?s Madhouse club in Hollywood?s Roosevelt Hotel. The guestlist included her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, Kelly Osbourne ? who organised the bash ? Rumer Willis and Victoria Justice. Parents Tish and Billy Ray were also in attendance at the event, where entertainment included dancing dwarves and a performance of Super Bass by a mini Nicki Minaj impersonator. One picture shows Miley blowing out the candles on a huge birthday cake, while other shots capture the actress dancing away. Tweeting about the shindig, Miley thanks pal Kelly for organising the bash. ?Can?t thank @MissKellyO for the best partyyyy ever! =]]]] i loveeeee you!? She added: ?Let?s just say there was a unicorn in the lobby,? describing how a horse with a horn attached to its head was brought into the party. Other attendees included her half sister Brandi, sisters AJ and Aly Michalka, and Heroes actor Justin Baldoni. Ahead of the birthday party, Kelly told E! about what she had planned. ?It?s intimate, but it?s going to be the sickest [party] she?s ever seen in her life,? she teased. ?Although I see her on the same level mentally as me, I also realise that Miley?s 19 and she deserves to still have fun,? she went on. ?Because that girl has so much pressure on her and has worked her ass off her entire life that I think a lot of the time people forget that she deserves to have fun too. So that was my mission for her, to make her birthday?the best day ever? I?ve got all sorts of madness and craziness.?
To be honest, I had no idea that Miley and Kelly were so close. HMMM. In any event, the party sounds ? fun ? I guess. I?ve never been a big fan of little performers but clearly they are all the rage. It?s also hard to believe that Miley Cyrus is 19 years old. While still 2 years away from adulthood, it seems like she went from being 13 to 19 almost overnight. Sheesh, kids grow up so fast ? don?t they? Let?s send all of our Birthday Lurve to Miley today!

Those plans to sue Kim Kardashian over the supposed exaggerated character of his personality in Kim & Kourtney Take New York?
Kris Humphries says nah! Not true!
According to sources close to him, he still loves Kim and he'd never sue her.
He IS worried about how bad he'll appear in the upcoming season but he understands it.
Yeah, we mean, he DID sign all that paperwork. Could he even win if he did sue???

If you hosted Thanksgiving dinner last night, or if you're staying with someone who did, you're probably faced with a fridge-full of delicious and less-delicious foodstuffs. What's your plan of attack?
I personally have a bunch of vegetarian chili, one buttermilk-onion roll, a loaf of cranberry bread, some double-potato bake that I put green beans on top of in a late-night effort to save everything, and a tiny piece of pumpkin pie wrapped in plastic. I also have a whole bunch of unused raw vegetables, because I tend to overbuy when cooking for large groups. I scarfed down some of the chili for lunch, but what about dinner? Do I just reheat everything and have Thanksgiving Part II, or do I try to create a somewhat new meal using the leftovers? Want to advise me, or share your own strategy for dealing with the contents of your post-Thanksgiving tupperware? Consider this the place to share your favorite leftover recipes, to seek guidance, or to post photos of your Thanksgiving culinary disasters/triumphs. Bon appetit!

"Prometheus" fans, today's your lucky day: at long last, here's your first look at actual characters from Ridley Scott's glorious return to the sci-fi scene!
The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly features several new photos from "Prometheus," including one that's made its way online. The image, which you can see above, centers on three of the main characters from Scott's loosely connected "Alien" movie, played by actors Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Logan Marshall-Green.
Rapace and Fassbender are increasingly known quantities these days, what with "Sherlock Holmes 2" on the cusp of release and Fassbender making headlines with his NC-17 drama "Shame." Marshall-Green, however, is a lesser known figure: he's currently most famous for M. Night Shyamalan's "Devil" and for getting shot to bits by Mischa Barton on "The O.C." Something tells me that "Prometheus" is going to up his pedigree significantly.
Beyond seeing these actors in action for the first time, the new "Prometheus" image contains one hell of a head-scratcher? more specifically, what the what is with that gigantic head in the background? Does it have something to do with the fabled Space Jockey? Is it an entirely new element in the "Alien" universe? Do we really want to know the answer before "Prometheus" hits?
Other photos from EW's "Prometheus" feature are floating about the web, albeit in poorly scanned form. You can hunt them down for yourself, or you can pick up the new issue of EW to dive into that world even more.
Tell us what you think of the new "Prometheus" photo in the comments section and on Twitter!

I was originally going to do moments from all of SNL but I soon realized that the weekend updates are usually the best ones, which is why I have chosen them. Once you watch all these videos I am pretty sure that most of you will agree with me.
5. Weekend Update With Justin Timberlake ? I want to point out I am not even a huge fans of his but this shiz is good.
4. Weekend Update With Guy Fieri? ? there are no words it is just pee in your pants good.
3. Weekend Update: Turkey Song ? Adam Sandler as Bruce Springsteen singing Thanksgiving son, enough said.
2 Weekend Update: Jay Pharoah?s Thanksgiving Rap ? if you thought the last song was freaking funny you haven?t seen anything yet. Another winner.
1.Weekend Update: Sandler?s Thanksgiving Song ? yes the one you all know and love even if you won?t admit it. It is number 1 and I am pretty sure you all know why.
