The four days that were The Sasquatch 2011 Music Festival was a magical one for us here at Beatcrave and Memorial Day Monday was the most packed day of music we had all weekend. It seemed that every band that played was worthy of taking up every minute we had.

We also got to see Beatcrave Fav, Foster the People, play the most jammed packed set of the weekend over at The Yeti stage as well as catching Guided By Voices playing to what might have bee

n the smallest crowd at the main stage. We also avoided the sporadic showers that turned the blue sky grey and caught some more acoustic sets, this time by three of the four members of The Decemberists

Singer Keyshia Cole Gets Married!

Add singer Keyshia Cole and NBA player Daniel Gibson to the list of celebs that got hitched last weekend. The two made it official in a private ceremony after almost a year and a half of being engaged, UsMagazine.com reports. Gibson, who proposed to Cole on New Year's Eve in 2010, seems elated: He tweeted today, "Always & Forever!! It's just like a dream to Me.."

Angelina Jolie Prepares To Play Cleopatra

Angelina Jolie is preparing to play Cleopatra in the big screen. It was one of the late Elizabeth Taylor?s most famous roles.

?My performance will never be as lovely as Elizabeth?s. We are trying to get into a different truth about her as a pharaoh in history and not as a sex symbol, because she really wasn?t. Even this idea of her having many lovers ? it was possible that it was only two. She is very interesting, but she wasn?t a great beauty.?

We first heard about this project a while ago (much to some people?s dismay), so I?m glad to hear they?re making progress! I?m excited to see Angelina as Cleopatra. How about you?

'Hangover Part II': Can It Break $125 Million At The Box Office?

'Our prediction was $129 million, and that's looking like a real possibility,' BoxOffice.com editor Phil Contrino says.

For the last few days, Hollywood has been abuzz over the idea that "The Hangover Part II" could pull over $125 million into its boozy box-office wake over the extended five-day Memorial Day holiday. Could an R-rated comedy really do such boffo biz?

It's looking increasingly like it can. Wednesday's midnight screenings of "Hangover" pulled in $10.4 million, a record for an R movie. Thursday followed suit, with a final gross of $31.6 million — another R-rated record for biggest opening day ever. Many schools and colleges are now on break, audiences have been giving the flick an A- CinemaScore and not even tepid critical reviews can seem to stop the inevitable.

"We think it will crack $125 million," BoxOffice.com editor Phil Contrino said. "Our prediction was $129 million, and that's looking like a real possibility. These movies appeal to anyone who has ever greeted the morning with dry mouth and a splitting headache. But the films also have heart underneath all the raunchiness. They are about all the mixed feelings that people have before getting married. Do I like my spouse's family? Do I really want to stop having fun?"

Other industry experts are not as convinced. David Poland of Movie City News is taking a wait-and-see approach while noting that anything over $100 million during the extended weekend would be considered a huge success. "The swing, with numbers this big, is $25-plus million in five days," he said. "There's no way to know how much of the must-see-or-die audience has been served by this huge Thursday. We can all guess, but we're just guessing."

Poland compared the "Hangover" sequel's opening to the second "Matrix" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" films: The originals were surprise blockbusters and the follow-ups received a "mega-opening in response." Helping spur audience excitement, he also noted, was a top-notch marketing campaign including exceptional TV spots. "I've seen the film and they make me want to see it again," he said. "They do exactly what a sequel wants to do — click into the characters you love and promise more."

All of this makes "The Hangover Part III" seem less like just a possibility than an unavoidability. Even last year's "Due Date," which director Todd Phillips shot between "Hangover" flicks, grossed $212 million worldwide. The guy can do no wrong for his studio. As Contrino put it, "He will be in a league of his own after this movie. Warner Bros. would let him film an adaptation of the phone book at this point just to keep him happy."

So while the filmmaker continues to keep his studio bosses and audiences delighted, it doesn't seem like he'll start to give a hoot what critics — those who love him as well as those who hate him — think. "He knew that the nasty reviews for this were coming," Poland said. "He doesn't get the amount of space from critics that, for instance, Judd Apatow gets. So maybe that will be his secret goal, though I believe him completely when he says that he won't start making other kinds of movies or adjusting what he thinks is funny just to get the critical love he wants. No 'Funny People' coming from Todd."

'Hunger Games' Casts Lenny Kravitz As Cinna

'When I saw Lenny's work in 'Precious,' I was just knocked out,' director Gary Ross says.

The buzzworthy big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' dystopian best-seller "The Hunger Games" has added yet another highly anticipated cast member: Lenny Kravitz will play creative, kindhearted stylist Cinna.

Director Gary Ross said of the casting decision, "When I saw Lenny's work in 'Precious,' I was just knocked out. It was quiet and strong and understated and openhearted; all qualities which define this character. I'm really looking forward to this ride."

Cinna is the stylist for District 12 tributes Katniss and Peeta. Hunger Games stylists are responsible for presenting their tributes in complex costumes and ensembles that reflect characteristics of the tributes' native districts, as well as the personalities of the young men and women to which the stylist is assigned. Cinna is one of the few calming presences in Katniss' life, as well as one of the few people she can trust.

Naturally, Kravitz is best known for his music career — he won the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance Grammy four years in a row from 1999 to 2002, breaking the record for most wins in that category and most consecutive wins in one category — with tracks like "Are You Gonna Go My Way," "Fly Away," "American Woman," and "Again." Over the last few years, however, Kravitz has dipped his multitalented toe into the world of acting, his breakout role being that of compassionate and encouraging Nurse John in "Precious."

Kravitz joins a long list of high-profile stars, including Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy, Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinkett and Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane.

Britney Spears Says Femme Fatale Tour Will Be 'Spectacular'

Singer also hopes her choreographers create the 'most outrageous things.'

Britney Spears is known for delivering an over-the-top stage show, and she promises that her forthcoming Femme Fatale Tour alongside Nicki Minaj will be no different.

In a new video interview posted on her website, the pop princess opens up about her 26-date summer venture, which is set to kick off June 16 in Sacramento and make its way across North America, before concluding August 13 in Toronto.

"The Femme Fatale Tour will hopefully just be outrageously spectacular," Spears said when asked about the trek. "I'm just hoping that the choreographers will come up with just the most outrageous things, and I'm really excited."

While it's been just over a month since the release of Femme Fatale, Brit gushed about the outing, saying, "This is one of the most excited I've been about a project in a really long time, so I can't wait."

While a set list has yet to surface, it would make sense that some of Spears' personal favorite Femme Fatale cuts will be performed throughout her concert, which she revealed as "He About to Lose Me," "Criminal" and "Till the World Ends."

Fans caught an early glimpse at the forthcoming tour last week when video footage of the pop star rehearsing the Bloodshy & Avant-produced "How I Roll" surfaced online. Wearing a baby-blue sports bra and sweatpants, a smiling Spears showed off some playful dance moves surrounded by a group of dancers.

Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, told MTV News back in March that the tour is expected to have a postapocalyptic theme in tune with her latest single, "Till the World Ends." "This is exactly the direction we're moving in," he said. " 'Till the World Ends' keeps becoming a theme for us. ... The way we come up with a concept for a show like this is we sit with Britney, she talks to us about what she's interested in and what excites her."

When Ernie Halter put out a call to arms on his Twitter account for fans to come out to his O.C. show, he probably had no idea that one very famous fan would take him up on the offer. On Thursday night, when Halter played at La Cave Restaurant in Costa Mesa, California, he was surprised by Justin Bieber. The Biebs, who brought gal pal Selena Gomez as his date, even took the stage with the singer/songwriter.

"@justinbieber Now get some rest. I still can't believe you flew 11 hrs and drove an hour to surprise me. Wow. So honored. @justinbieber great meeting u & @selenagomez tonight. Def a night to remember. Thank you for the encouragement & for singing with me," Halter wrote on Twitter.

Bieber has covered Halter's track "Come Home to Me" in his own shows, and on Thursday night he sang the tune right alongside the singer, much to Halter's amazement.

"I'm speechless. @justinbieber and @selenagomez came to see me play tonight and Justin sat in. All I can say is wow," he wrote. "@scooterbraun Great meeting you and Karen tonight. What an awesome surprise! Rest up and hope to cross paths again soon. Cheers! @selenagomez you and Justin are so sweet. Pleasure meeting you both. I saw you singing along to my songs. Made my night that much better."

Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, also used Twitter to gush about the night. "I love surprises. We drove an hour out of LA to surprise @erniehalter at his gig. #awesome," he wrote.

Bieber also sent his love and support to Halter on the site. "@erniehalter thanks for the night. Glad we could surprise u. U r the real deal. Congrats to u and the wife. And ... @erniehalter Never Say Never aint no BS. Haha. Thanks again," he wrote. "Music is universal. #artistssupportartists #SWAG"

Jennifer Lawrence Talks Training To Play Katniss Everdeen In 'Hunger Games'

'I've done archery for about six weeks, rock climbing, tree climbing and combat and running and vaulting,' star tells MTV News.

For all the "The Hunger Games" fans out there — and we're talking about those who've been onboard since reading (and likely becoming obsessed with) author Suzanne Collins' spellbinding dystopian trilogy — the news surrounding Lionsgate's big-screen adaptation has been almost as intriguing as the books themselves.

MTV News has been hot on the trail of as many details we can muster, and we were lucky enough to chat recently with the young woman who will be Katniss Everdeen, Jennifer Lawrence, about landing the coveted role.

"I was a huge fan of the books before I even really knew about the movies," Lawrence said. "I met with [director] Gary Ross, and we had a very long, nice meeting before the audition," she explained. "And then by the time the audition came around, we were familiar with each other."

Lawrence also spoke about the intense amount of training she's undergone to prepare for Katniss' intense action sequences.

"It's lots of training, but the training is actually really fun," she revealed. "I've done archery for about six weeks, rock climbing, tree climbing and combat and running and vaulting," she said. "Also yoga and things like that to stay cat-like."

The 20-year-old has also addressed the group of folks who took to the Internet to express their less-than-pleased opinions about Lawrence's casting as Katniss.

"I wasn't aware that everybody was so upset until I after I got my hair dyed, and people were like, 'Oh my gosh, blond hair can turn brown. Wow. It's a miracle,' " she joked. "So now is the only time that I'm being told that people hated me at first."

Usher Gets Sick, Walks Offstage Mid-Show In Berlin

Singer cancels kick off date of European leg of his OMG Tour due to illness.

Usher was forced to delay the kick off of his European OMG Tour on Wednesday night in Berlin because of illness. In a statement released to fans, the singer apologized for the last-minute scratch, saying he felt he was suffering from a "sinus complication." Although the gig was rescheduled for Thursday night at the O2 World arena in Berlin, his German fans apparently weren't appeased by his effort.

"I am truly sorry to all my fans in Berlin who were inconvenienced by tonight's postponement of the show," the singer said in a statement about Wednesday's aborted concert. "I was ill and felt that I would not have been able to give them the show that they properly deserve. ... I am looking forward to performing tomorrow and giving Berliners a great show."

According to the statement, the singer received treatment from doctors for a sinus issue that affected his balance, but a visibly still-ailing Usher was unable to finish the Thursday make-up show, reportedly abandoning the stage after just five songs.

On Friday (January 14), a follow-up statement from his spokesperson confirmed that he was too ill to play Thursday night's Berlin date and has been forced to reschedule the next three dates on the tour as well. The Rotterdam show originally scheduled for this week has been moved to March 1 and a show in Antwerp, also slated for this week, has been bumped to March 7.

The statement also updated the singer's condition: "Usher is suffering from upper respiratory illness, which is currently preventing him from performing a proper show. After consultation with doctors, he has been advised to reschedule the upcoming dates in order to get the rest he needs to ensure a complete recovery."

Footage posted on YouTube that was purportedly taken at the make-up performance in Berlin shows Usher standing silently at the microphone seemingly unable to sing, with fans booing him at first and then chanting, "Usher, Usher," as he approaches the microphone and apologizes to them for his struggles. "I appreciate your support," he told the fans wearily.

"I have been very excited about my European Tour and I deeply regret having to reschedule the shows," the singer said in the new statement. "I am truly sorry for any inconvenience I have caused my fans. My fans are the best in the world and I am looking forward to getting better so that I can give them the show they deserve."

Usher wrapped up the North American leg of his tour in December and his overseas dates are slated to last through the spring.

Usher To Donate Gadhafi Money To Charity

'I will be donating all of my personal proceeds...to various human rights organizations,' singer says of concert linked to Libyan dictator.

R&B superstar Usher announced Friday (March 4) that he was donating to various charities proceeds from appearing at a private event at St. Barts linked to Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, according to a statement made to the Associated Press.

The Grammy award winner's renouncement comes after similar announcements from singers Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, and Beyoncé, all of whom were revealed to have performed at private concerts linked to the Middle Eastern leader, who has faced open revolt and major political uprisings since February.

"I am sincerely troubled to learn about the circumstances surrounding the Nikki Beach St. Bart's event that took place on New Year's Eve 2009," Usher said of the concert, at which he appeared alongside Beyoncé but did not perform. "I will be donating all of my personal proceeds from that event to various human rights organizations."

Usher has already begun the process, having made a donation to Amnesty International, the AP reports. The exact size of the donation is not known.

The New Year's Eve gig was reportedly for Moammar's fourth son Muastassim, who an unnamed music industry source told MTV News has a history of throwing lavish parties "jammed" with supermodels.

Beyoncé, who sang at the event, donated all proceeds from her performance to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, established in the wake of the Haitian earthquake.

"All monies paid to Beyoncé for her performance at a private party at Nikki Beach St. Barts on New Year's Eve 2009, including the commissions paid to her booking agency, were donated to the earthquake relief efforts for Haiti over a year ago," the "Halo" singer's publicist said in a statement to The Huffington Post. "Once it became known that the third-party promoter was linked to the Qaddafi family, the decision was made to put that payment to a good cause."

Singer Nelly Furtado tweeted February 28 that she plans to make similar amends.

"In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Gadhafi clan to perform a 45 min. show for guests at a hotel in Italy," she tweeted. "I am going to donate the $."

The leader of Libya since a successful military coup in 1969, Gadhafi has reportedly lost control of much of his country as a result of widespread uprisings. The United Nations voted unanimously to refer the dictator to the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity.

This is it, everybody. The final chance for the two finalists to put on their best puppy-dog faces and plead for our votes. For their final performances Scotty and Lauren had to sing their favorite song from a previous performance, a song by their own idols, and what will be their first single if they win. Both contestants did well, and Jennifer wore a dress that looked like it was stolen from Charo?s closet.

The Good:

• Lauren?s rendition of ?Maybe It Was Memphis.? Granted, it was a little cheesy, but something about her raspy belting and puffy Dolly Parton dress made me smile.
• Scotty?s performance of ?Check Yes or No.? Again, it was super-schmaltzy, but it?s the type of song he?s meant to sing, and in that sense it highlighted his strengths perfectly.

The Bad:

• Lauren?s final song about how great her mom is. I suppose it was sweet and all, but definitely not first single material. I also thought it was a bit overboard with the emotions, but that might be because I have no soul.
• Scotty?s single, ?I Love You This Big.? BOOOOOORING!

Best Quotes:

• ?How do you feel about the last Oprah?? ? Ryan awkwardly trying to fill time while Taio Cruz takes the stage.
• ?It was everything it needed to be and you sang it the way you needed to.? ? Jennifer (Bold statement there. Way to take a stand!)

Elimination Prediction:

At this point I think Scotty still has a slight lead, but Lauren is right behind him, so really at this point it could be either of them. Tomorrow should be interesting!

Justin Bieber's Grammy Performance Will Be 'A Crossover,' Usher Says

The 'O.M.G.' singer looks forward to sharing the stage with his protégé on Sunday night.

HOLLYWOOD — At Sunday's 53rd Grammy Awards, Usher will be pulling double duty as both a nominee and a performer. Of course, given the massive year he just completed — with the success of his smash single "O.M.G." and as a mentor to rising phenom Justin Bieber — Ush's Grammy plans seem rather fitting.

Especially since he'll be performing with Bieber (and Bieber's pal Jaden Smith), a move that's just as much about celebrating Usher's successes as it is the successes of his young protégé.

"Having been through [the Grammys] so many times, you couldn't want for anything more than for your young protégé to have the opportunity to have one, so, in support of him having his moment, I wanted to be here," Usher told MTV News on Thursday, hours before his performance at the (Belvedere) RED launch party in Hollywood. "And also to be there to perform, to kind of tell the story of how we came together. This music business has definitely been good to both of us, and this year we have a lot to be happy for."

And just how will the dynamic duo tell that story? Well, Usher wasn't about to reveal all the details, but he did say that he's hoping their performance will show another side of Bieber ... a side most tend to overlook.

"The performance will be fun," Usher explained. "We want to get up there and just do what we do. Be comfortable, and have a great time. ... This is kind of a crossover for Justin. Having performed on so many different stages, this is the way that I wanted him to be seen and an opportunity to show the industry — a lot of the industry, that didn't believe [in him] — some of his other talents. He's going to play acoustically, and also, we'll get down a little bit."

And though Ush is up for a pair of Grammy awards on Sunday — Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album for Raymond v. Raymond — he's most looking forward to sharing the stage with Bieber and giving fans a look at where the young artist will be heading next.

"I'm very proud, man. I definitely saw it from the beginning, but thanks to the team that we have around us, it was made to happen. And that story has only just begun," Usher said. "The story of Justin Bieber doesn't stop with screaming girls; we need screaming fans all around the world ... a cultural experience that's much more than just fanfare. And that's what this is. That's what the Grammys will be; that's what my next phase for Justin is. This is the way I found him: I found him with a guitar in his hand, so I want him to be seen that way."

Yesterday we saw photos from the Italian set of MTV?s Jersey Shore that showed Mike The Situation Sorrentino with some pretty big bruises on his face and it was reported that those bruises were the result of a beating from fellow castmate Ronnie Magro. Today we get to see new photos of Ronnie out and about on the streets of Florence, Italy wrapping his injured hand in bandages ? and we get to read the official statement from MTV about the incident.

Ronnie appeared to be making fun of The Situation when he flashed his abs at photographers ? and it should be noted that all of the JS castmates were spotted with Ronnie today ? and The Sitch was nowhere to be seen. Yesterday Mike was spotted trying to sneak home and hide his injuries while MTV tried to explain what happened to his face:

?Monday evening, Mike received medical attention after an accidental injury in the house. He was treated and is now at home with the rest of the cast.?

An ?accidental injury in the house?, eh? Yeah right. I?m telling you ? MTV will do everything they can to capitalize on this reported fight. They seem to love it when Ronnie gets violent in any capacity and they seem to love showing his rage on TV. They also have no qualms about showing the castmembers of the show beating one another. I?m sure they are having a field day figuring out how they plan to exploit this reported physical altercation. I wonder how long it?ll take for The Situation to show his face again while he?s in Italy. Hmmmm.

Diddy Is A 'Hands-Off' Record Label Boss, Gorilla Zoe Says

When someone mentions Bad Boy Records, you think of Sean "Diddy" Combs. The label CEO and chief producer has made his presence known on almost all of his label's releases, whether he's contributing beats, lyrics or his over-the-top ad-libs ("thought I told ya that we won't stop" or "take that, take that"). So when MTV News asked Gorilla Zoe about Diddy's involvement in his upcoming Bad Boy release, King Kong, we were surprised to hear the mogul was falling back.

"He's hands-off right now," the Hood Figga told us. "I'm hands-on this project, I'm working."

The album — set to drop June 14 on Block Ent./ Bad Boy — is Zoe's third solo affair. Although he came in the game as a part of the unapologetically street rap quartet Boyz N Da Hood, Zoe began to branch out with his 2009 single "Lost." Rather than weave his usual trap tales, on "Lost," Zoe sang in Auto-Tune of his deep-rooted paranoia and questioned his place in the world.

On King Kong, GZ says he's exhibiting even more growth. "King Kong, immaculate album. Sonically, the diversity and the demographics of it is widespread; anywhere from the hood, the trap, to Europe. That's crazy demographics; especially for me," he added.

For much of his career, Zoe has worked independent of the Bad Boy founder, who hasn't appeared on or produced any of his two previous albums, and this time out is no different. Mostly, Zoe has been following the guidance of Block Ent. CEO, Russell "Block" Spencer. In the studio, however, it has been the rapper leading the charge. "Block does his CEO thing, but musically they letting me do my thing," Zoe said.

"King Kong features Gucci Mane, T-Pain and Yo Gotti and will boast beats from Zaytoven, Drumma Boy and newcomer Sonny Digital, who Zoe said produced roughly half of the album. Zoe's first single, "Twisted," features Lil Jon and, for now, no Diddy.

'The Hangover Part II': Looking Back On The Wolf-Pack's Path

What a long, strange trip it's been since the first "Hangover" film dropped in 2009. Who could predict that an original comedy starring three mid-level actors would gross hundreds of millions around the world, or that it would become the new standard of bromance comedy, or that you'd actually want to drink more after seeing where alcohol had led the wolf-pack?

But less surprising is how the careers of the actors involved have taken off. Almost all of the primary actors in "The Hangover" have found increased success in the biz, whether it's as action stars, comedic bit players, or reality TV stars.

How far have they come, and where are they going? Find out after the jump!

Zach Galifianakis
"The Hangover's" breakout star floated for years in the alternative comedy scene as one of those perpetually hilarious comedians who never seemed to get a big break. His turn as man-child Alan sparked mainstream attention, as he was soon asked to play similar roles in films like "Due Date" and "Dinner for Schmucks" -- the clueless, awkward type prone to blurting out uncomfortable truths. And who could forget "G-Force," where he oversaw a group of CGI secret agent guinea pigs? But despite the influx of studio cash, Galifianakis hasn't turned away from his indie roots. He still made time for new appearances on the wacked-out "Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!" and even took a dramatic role in Oscar front-runner "Up in the Air" and quirky comedy "It's Kind of a Funny Story."

Bradley Cooper
Of his increased career opportunities following "The Hangover," Cooper told Shave Magazine: "More doors have been opened for sure but it?s not like I sit back with a cigar on Monday morning and go through the scripts that have been offered." Still, it's hard to imagine the pre-"Hangover" Cooper -- the one who filled parts in quickly cancelled TV shows like "Jack and Bobby" and "Kitchen Confidential" -- nabbing starring roles in "The A-Team" and "Limitless," even though his brash swagger and rugged look were basically the same. But as Hollywood looks for new A-listers to replace a rapidly aging set more interested in acting challenges than explosions and one-liners (you're okay with us, Brad), Cooper's cut in the classic mold of alpha male braggadocio. He's rumored to play the title character in "The Crow" remake, eyeliner and all.

Ed Helms
Perhaps the least dynamic of the wolf-pack members, Helms has mostly stuck to his excellent role of Andy Bernard on "The Office," a part which may grow in prominence as Bernard is one of the characters in the running to take over Dunder-Mifflin Scranton following Steve Carrell's exit from the show. He also starred in "Cedar Rapids," which was beloved by critics if not the box office. His versatility as a reasonable straight man makes him a great foil for wacky characters everywhere, so it's unsurprising to see him continue to flourish without overstaying his welcome.

Ken Jeong
Following "The Hangover," Jeong's role on "Community" continued to increase, and he was seen in national ads for Adidas along NBA stars Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard. The Tyson seen since then has seemed more at peace, even following the tragic death of his daughter in 2009. Right now, he stars in the unlikely Animal Planet hit, "Taking on Tyson," which follows him and the pigeons he's taken care of for years. Strange, to be sure, but it's a welcome change of pace from the Tyson who served as America's evil uncle during the Clinton years.
